ASOFIN Management SA [part of Onassis Group of companies] is looking for an Accountant who will support the Accounting and Reporting team that undertakes all the accounting and financial reporting of various entities of the Group.
Main responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping for a number of mainly Greek entities maintaining their records in accordance with ELP and/or IFRS
- Handling of accounting documents including invoicing
- Preparing and performing reconciliations (bank/supplier etc/fixed assets etc.) and supporting month-end closing of books
- Assisting in the preparation of various internal accounting and budgeting reports including monthly cash flow reports
- Supporting accounting team in handling communication with external parties (suppliers/banks) as well as internal departments
- Preparation of online Payments for further approval/execution
- Supporting in the preparation, submission and compliance of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations and maintenance of e-books
- Supporting in the compilation of annual separate financial statements (for several companies)

Requirements
Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related area
- Postgraduate degree or a professional qualification in Accounting will be considered as an asset
- Previous working experience in a relevant position (accounting/bookkeeping, 3 years)
- Good knowledge of IFRS and Greek GAAP ELP
- Solid understanding of taxation matters including filing procedures
- Excellent command of all MS Office Applications
